PTFE (Polytetrafluoroethylene) is the 'ultimate' regular fiber as it has outstanding chemical and thermal resistance, with the right chemistry, it will operate up to 250°C.
Performance:
1. 100% PTFE;
2. Low hot shrinkage;
3. Good chemical stability;
4. Lkaline resistance, acid resistance, oxidation resistance, hydrolysis resistance, high temperature resistance, solvent resistance;
5. In dry conditions, maximum continuous temperature is 260°C / 500°F; maximum surge temperature is 280°C / 536°F;
(The data shown and statements made above are representative properties and characteristics. Actual results may differ, depending on use.)
